F Street Hospitality Good Neighbors Program

F Street Hospitality wants to give back to our neighbors. Our mission is to be here for those in our community because we know that helping each other makes our community stronger!

Through the Good Neighbors Program, we can make an impact in one of three ways:

  • Gift Card Donations
  • Gathering Give-Back
  • F Street Signature Programs:
    • In Dough We Grow
    • Bottled with Love

Gift Card Donations

Through the Good Neighbors Program, we donate one $50 Pizza Man / Timmer’s / Glass + Griddle certificate (depending on request) to 40 not-for-profit organizations and local groups each month for events, auction items or prizes.

How it works:

  • Make a request through our website form below
  • Request are reviewed on the 2nd Monday of each month
  • The first 40 requests are given a gift card
  • Recipient must be a neighbor and live with in 20 miles of any location
  • Requests are fulfilled in-house and mailed 1 month prior to your event when possible

Gathering Give-Back

Through Gathering Give-Back we provide a donation equal to 5 or 10 percent of food and beverage revenue for any 501(c)3 organization that hosts a special event for 75 or more guests in any of our participating venues.

How it works:

  • Your organization will work with a member of our sales team to book an event or fundraiser
  • Any event booked Sunday – Thursday receives a check back for 10% of their total event spend excluding service charge
  • Any event booked for Friday or Saturday receives a check back for 5% of their total spend, excluding service charge
  • Gathering Give-Back checks are mailed with in 30 days after the event is paid in full

F Street Hospitality Signature Programs

In Dough We Grow

Pizza Man has been a community staple for over 50 years. In the past 10, the brand has grown to 3, soon to be 4 locations. Because of this, we want to help others grow in our neighborhoods and communities. This is why we are starting the Pizza Man: In Dough We Grow Program to support local non-profit whose values and missions reflect growth and education. We are committed to partnering with 4 non-profits from the community annually starting the first quarter of 2021. Each quarter a non-profit will be selected to receive proceeds from a unique custom pie, crafted by the non-profit partner and the Pizza Man chefs.

Who should apply:

To be considered as an applicant for the In Dough We Grow, your organization must meet the three criteria noted below:

  • Organizations must have an IRS tax-exempt classification under 501 (c) (3) of the IRS code.
  • Organizations must clearly demonstrate a commitment to growth and education.
  • Organizations must have a program that will benefit from the award. (Award funds are not to be used for general operating expenses.)
  • Organizations must be located within 20 miles of a Pizza Man restaurant

What do I need to do?

  • Fill out the In Dough We Grow Application.
  • Write an essay answering the following:
    1. How would the proceeds from the program support a particular initiative (not just operational costs)?
    2. How would your organization promote the program to your donors/supporters?
    3.  Are there other ways for our employees to get involved during their month/quarter?
  • Must be available for a presentation or allow F Street to tour your facility if requested.

What is the application process?

  • Please only apply if your cause meets the three consideration points listed above.
  • Complete the application form and essay.
  • Application period is October 1 – November 15, 2020.
  • After the application period closes, the F Street Hospitality team will review the applications and select 6 finalists.
  • In partnership with F Street Hospitality we will narrow the finalists to 4 to align with each quarter of 2021.
  • Partners will be notified by email on Dec. 6th, 2020.
  • F Street Hospitality will issue a press release to announce the In Dough We Grow partners!

In Dough We Grow Program Calendar:

Oct. 1-Nov. 15:

Apply to be the next In Dough We Grow Partner!

Nov. 16-20:

 Applications are reviewed and finalists are selected.

Nov. 22:

Finalists join us for pizza and to give a short presentation about the organization.

Dec. 7-15:

Our partner works with a Pizza Man chef to create a unique pie!

The In Dough We Grow pizza is featured on all Pizza Man menus, one organization per quarter.

 

*Organizations can only participate in one signature program every two years

*Proceeds are given to the organization within 30 days of the quarter ending.

Bottled with Love

At Glass + Griddle and The Brown Bottle we love bottles of beer, in case you didn’t catch that in our names! We are committed to giving back to support local non-profits whose values and missions reflect our own. Glass + Griddle and The Brown Bottle are committing to partnering with 12 non-profits from the community throughout the year starting in January. Each month, we will select a bottled beer where proceeds will benefit the assigned partner’s non-profit. All you have to do is makes sure your fans come in and order the Bottle of Love for that month. We’ll donate back the $3 from each purchased beer back to your organization. Also, included is a Bottled with Love partner night!

Inclusions in the Bottled with Love Partner Night:

  • Glass + Griddle’s front dining room will be held on the first Tuesday of the month for an optional fundraising event and beer tasting party.
  • Glass + Griddle / The Brown Bottle will donate an auction item for the fundraising efforts.
  • 10% from the day of the fundraising event’s revenue will go to the non-profit
