Chef Tom has dedicated his entire professional career to the food and hospitality industry.  Over his 30 years of experience, he has worked in a wide variety of roles from busboy to Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Director, from casual dining restaurants to 5-Star luxury resorts, and just about everywhere in between.

Prior to joining F Street Hospitality in November of 2019, Tom spent 5 years as the Director of the Food and Beverage at Destination Kohler, the Midwest’s only Forbes 5 Star and AAA 5 Diamond resort.  He lead a team of 600 professionals overseeing all culinary and service operations at nine resort food and beverage outlets and banquet facilities.

From 2004 -2014, Tom owned and operated a culinary services company based in Chicago, specializing in culinary education, menu development, and food innovation consulting.  The company, Soigne Culinary Artistry, was the creative resource for numerous recipe development and consumer product innovation projects focused on trends for industry-leading food and beverage manufacturers.

Tom also spent several years as an instructor at The Art Institute of Wisconsin teaching aspiring chefs the fundamentals of classical and modern cuisine.

One of his more unique roles was serving for 3 years as Executive Chef for the Florida Department of Agriculture; traveling the world as a speaker & culinary demonstrator on topics regarding seafood, fruits, and vegetables synonymous with the state of Florida.
